In 1906, Winston Churchill wrote, “We are all worms. But I do believe that I am a glow-worm”. Jesus agreed. He said of messed-up humans, “You are the light of the world”. This world needs some light. Do you feel the mood boost now that the sun is up by 9am? Light makes a difference. You, too, are a glow-worm. Here are 8 opportunities for you to share your light in the ministry of the Palmer SDA Church between now and Monday.

Share Light through Shared Grief

We have experienced a couple of recent losses in our church family. Let’s support each other thorugh it.

You are invited to the burial for Steve Charron this afternoon (Feb 6) at 1pm at the Palmer Cemetery.

John LaVarnway’s celebration of life will be at the Palmer SDA Church at 2pm on February 22.

Share Light through Evangelism

Share, attend, invite, help out, and/or livestream the 'Digging Deep' evangelism series by Pastor Matthew Sandvik, beginning tonight at 6:30 pm at 6000 O'Malley Road!

Share Light by Worshipping Together

This Sabbath, we are celebrating a baby dedication and a baptism.

There is so much encouragement and love that is shared when we gather for worship. Come bring some light!

Share Light through Youth Ministry

This is the event that inspired the glow theme for this email. The pathfinders are hosting a GLOW PARTY fundraiser for youth (not just Pathfinders), ages 10 and up! There is a $5 admission fee plus any money spent on concessions. Check out the invite below.

Share Light through Facility Upkeep

There is a church/school workbee on February 8, 10:00am-12:00pm. Our building is used for so much good. It is a real ministry to care for it.

Share Light through Prayer

UPWARD 2026 Continues! The daily 6 a.m. prayer room remains open for those who wish to gather in prayer, with a dedicated Monday 6 a.m. conference prayer time each week. Beginning in 2026, a weekly devotional from the Book of John will be released every Monday by email, on the conference website, and on Facebook. Churches and groups are encouraged to continue gathering for prayer as we seek God’s guidance.

Share Light through the Women’s Life Group

We are nearly a month into having a group for women to connect and grow spiritually.
