Do you feel a bit off?

Are you disappointed in your productivity lately? Do you lack energy? Does your spiritual life feel a bit flat? Don’t freak out! You are experiencing the darkest day of the year. If you look south at 11am you can still see the pink of the sunrise. Look outside 3 hours later, and you can catch the sunset. We will reach our maximum tilt away from the sun just after midnight tonight. Then, for the next 6 months, we gain light every day!

This is a word of encouragement from your church… YOU ARE NOT BROKEN! You just haven’t had much sun lately.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. Let God come close and hang with you through the dark time. Take a break. Remember God’s faithfulness and the countless blessings in your life. Let the True Light shine on you this holiday season.

Psalm 43:5 Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

Psalm 139:11-12 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,” even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you.

Scripture changes lives! We have the opportunity to connect others with God through the truth of the Bible. Our church is partnering with Discover Bible School to do social media advertising in our area so we can study the Bible with people. We expect that we will need many volunteers to meet the requests for Bible study. You can be one of them. Not sure if it’s for you? That’s fine. Come to the training on January 11. Representatives from Discover Bible School will be joining us by Zoom to train us on their system and how to give a Bible study. Hope to see you there.

Now is the time to start a Life Group for the 1st quarter of 2025!

We have our Life Group Open Enrollment on January 11. We will kick things off on that Sabbath by connecting people with Life Groups. BUT FIRST… we need people to lead those Life Groups. You would make a great Life Group Leader! Talk to pastor Ryan if you have any interest or questions or if you are ready to get your group on the list.

Congratulations AGA Teachers and Students!

This week, AGA finished the 1st half of the school year. We are so blessed to have a school that provides an education centered on Jesus for nearly 100 students! We are grateful for our fantastic staff and proud of our incredible students.
