Mission Trip Meeting

Hey friends,

Anyone interested in AGA overseas missions, particularly our upcoming trip to Paraguay in March 2026, is invited to an informational meeting at the fellowship hall of the Palmer SDA Church on Monday evening, November 3, at 6:30 PM.  

It is very important that local interested participants join us in person -- but a Zoom link is available for those who live outside the Mat-Su Valley.  Please respond directly to this message if you need the Zoom link.  

At this meeting we will provide an overview of the upcoming mission trip, share a report of our recent Site Visit to Encarnacion, and discuss with you the required registration steps necessary to participate.  We will also share SCHOLARSHIP information which can help reduce participation fees for some eligible participants.  You will also have an opportunity to ask any questions about AGA Missions or the March 2026 trip if you have them!

If you would like to learn more about AGA Missions in general, or this Paraguay trip in particular, join us on Monday evening, November 3.  We look forward to seeing you there!

The Grateful Pie Giveaway

Purpose: Provide a pie to a neighbor or friend who needs a little extra love this Thanksgiving.

What is needed?

1. Bakers to join the baking party on November 23

2. Donations of homemade pie (or pies)

3. Funds for pie-making ingredients (Mark tithe envelope with “Grateful Pies”)

4. List of how many pies are needed

(Determined by # of pies people “order” to share. Pick up ordered pies on Monday, November 24.)

Last week, our Pathfinders and Adventurers collected items to send to those impacted by the typhoon in western Alaska. They are actively learning the value of service and making a positive difference in our state!
