Update from Our Missionaries

Making a difference in the Dominican Republic.

Palmer SDA E-News

This is“Caleta 6”. The finished church that AGA/Palmer volunteers built last spring break.

Our mission team is hard at work in the Dominican Republic, right now, serving with Maranatha to build a much-needed church for a growing congregation. The original church is one of the smallest our missionaries have ever seen, with just 35 members squeezing in for worship. Many more in the community are eager to join, but there simply isn’t enough space—until now!

Despite sore muscles, rain showers, and a few unexpected delays, our team is making steady progress on the new building. Alongside construction, they’ve been busy sharing God’s love through Vacation Bible School and community outreach. VBS has been a joyful time, with about 55 children (ages 4-10) attending. The outreach team has also been active, picking up trash along the road, visiting local families in need of encouragement, singing songs, offering prayers, and leaving small gifts.

Please continue to pray for strength, safety, and meaningful connections as they work to bring both a physical and spiritual foundation to this community!
