Simple Gospel

A weekend of renewal in Jesus

Communion Sabbath

Anything can be made complicated. But, at its core, the gospel is wonderfully simple, infinitely deep, eternally amazing, yet wonderfully simple.

The Bible tells us that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Left to ourselves, we cannot earn our way back to God. Yet God did for us what we could never do for ourselves. "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

Jesus lived the life we could not live and died the death we deserved. Through His sacrifice, forgiveness, grace, and eternal life are offered as a gift. "For by grace you have been saved through faith... not of works, lest anyone should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). Salvation is not something we achieve; it is something we receive by trusting in Christ.

Wonderfully simple!

Communion is a beautiful reminder of this good news. The bread and the cup point us back to the body and blood of Jesus, given for us. At the Lord's Table, we remember His sacrifice, celebrate His grace, and renew our faith in the One who saves us.

Tomorrow we gather for Communion. Whether your faith is strong or struggling, come and remember the simple, life-changing truth at the heart of our faith: Jesus loves you, Jesus died for you, and Jesus invites you to receive His gift of grace.
