Registration Deadline

Check out the video from last year's Rippy Trail adventure. It was good enough to do again, and we are on April 25-27. You are invited to be a part of it, but today is the last day to register. Yeah, we actually do need to know who is coming to prepare for these trips. Here is a bit more information:

• We have 7 participants registered and a few others who have shown interest.

• There is no fee for the trip. 

• Registration has been opened to ages 10 and up.

• You can rent any gear from AGA ($15 fee for as much gear as you need).

• There is an option to do group meals with all the food provided ($30 fee for the food for the whole weekend).

• Plan to be at the pre-trip meeting on April 23, 5pm.

• We will meet at AGA at 9 am on Friday, April 25 (there is no school at AGA) and return by 5 pm on Sunday.

• The trailhead is close, and camp is only 2 miles away, so you can show up later on Friday and be just fine, as long as you communicate.

• Plan to bring rain gear and warm clothes. Some sections of the hike will be wet and muddy. We will be doing a steep, off-trail hike on Sabbath, so good footwear will be important.

• Also, I am still looking for two more background-screened adults who plan to be out there. So, there is a small chance that we can’t do the trip without parents coming along. I think I will get it all arranged before the pre-meeting.

• Our spiritual theme for the weekend is “Bloom.” We want God to do in our hearts what he is doing in the plants this Spring as we bloom into the person he has called us to be with the unique influence that he has planned for us.
