1 Week To Go

Mission Possible is almost here.

Mission Possible

With just over one week to go, we have 28 participants planning to be a part of Mission Possible. Our Prayer Workshop speaker is praying for 50 participants, and there is still time for you to join us.

Mission Possible is an incredible opportunity for fellowship, service, and spiritual growth. The following series of graphics has all the info you need…

Fellowship Meal

Our fellowship meal tomorrow has a theme- Haystacks! All are welcome! Bring your favorite toppings.

Jim Creek Paddle Trip

What started as a small group has grown and, now, you are invited too! The paddlers are floating Jim Creek and the Knik River down to the bridge tomorrow after church/potluck, starting at 3pm. We plan on having a worship and some food at the takeout by the bridge and will shuttle people back to the launch from there. It is a bring your own boat, bring your own life jacket, bring your own food kind of event. Joel Starn is the point of contact. (907) 841-6351

This is a long canoe route and will take the rest of the day. It is incredible, but we want you to know what you are getting into.

The launch point is Jim Lake, all the way at the end of Maud Road. Meet there at 3pm.

Check out our church calendar

Our church online calendar has been recently updated. Check it out. There is a lot good stuff coming that you can be a part of. https://palmersda.org/calendar/

Do you have an answered prayer story?  Maybe you had an amazing answer when you were a child or as an adult. Karen Carlton is collecting and writing answered prayer stories for a second book of answered prayer stories for kids and a new book of answered prayer stories for adults.  If you have a story you are willing to share, please email her at [email protected] and she will reach out to you to hear your story and do the writing.
